This vision system checks which type of nut has been fitted to the brake line.

The system can perform the following functions:

• Check that the correct sized nut has been fitted
• Ensure that the nut has been fitted in the correct orientation
• Locate damaged thread on viewed portion
• The features of the system are:
• Robust In-Sight vision sensor with industrial housing
• Simple operation utilising BOA from Teledyne Dalsa recognise and identify many different types of part types
• Sensor can be left to run as a stand alone unit with or without operator interface
• Results passed to PLC via Ethernet connection so PLC can act on results
